The store was easy to find and my first reaction was: WOW! This is exactly the sort of dog shop that I was expecting to find in London...
Elsa received a very warm welcome from Jenny, the human behind this store, who was kind enough to show us around.
Love My Human is spacious and stylish with an amazing selection of products for dogs, humans and cats too!
They have a great combination of everyday, practical essentials intermingled with luxury items, so whether you just need to stock up on treats or you really want to spoil your pet, you're guaranteed to find exactly what you need.
The grooming salon is based downstairs and is unlike any other that we have seen before! As we descended the staircase we were guided into a welcoming reception area attached to a corridor that led to another waiting room specifically designed for dogs, to allow them to relax before and after their groom.
The main grooming area has several tables and is very bright and airy thanks to all the natural light coming in.
There were no metal cages to be found here, but dogs who prefer to have their own space are given the option to rest and wait in their own private under-counter cubbyhole.
I couldn't resist buying these cute little dog shaped paperclips for myself, and we picked up some Peanut Butter Bites by The Furry Chef for Elsa. The tube style packaging is very well-designed, and inside there is a stack of paw shaped biscuits made from 100% organic ingredients. Elsa loves them! They also come in three other flavours: Beta-carotene Boost, Soothing Beets and Superfood Greens.
We were absolutely overwhelmed by how amazing Love My Human is...
This is exactly the type of place that many contemporary pet owners like ourselves want to shop and we've already heard very positive feedback from other people including Miss Darcy's owner, May.
Since Love My Human is based in Chelsea, there is no doubt that they will attract many affluent paws looking for exclusive, luxury items but Love My Human also has a lot of carefully-selected, affordable products too.
Whatever your budget, this is definitely somewhere that we highly recommend visiting and we can't return to Love My Human on our next trip to London!
