Stafford Castle | Wildlife & Countryside Fair with Fun Dog Show | Staffordshire

The sun finally came out so we decided to head to Stafford Castle where the Wildlife & Countryside fair was being held.

Stafford Castle

This is a great place to take your dog for a walk, Elsa absolutely loved exploring the castle ruins. There are also large, open grassy fields to run around on as well as woodland wildlife trails to follow.

Wildlife & Countryside Fair

This was a small fair but gave us the opportunity to meet some bats, birds of prey, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, watch demonstrations and also do some shopping at the craft stalls.

Fun Dog Show

We entered Elsa into the ‘best pedigree’ competition at the fun dog show hosted by PADS Dog Training – sadly no rosette today, but we had a lovely day out exploring the fair and castle.

Competitions are thirsty work!
