Paws and Rewind is a look back at the places, products, activities and events that we have been enjoying with Elsa over the past month.
March has been an AMAZING month for us! Elsa was given a special pass so that she could attend Crufts with us on the Toy & Utility day and we had the most wonderful time. It was a long day but Elsa was as good as gold and we had the opportunity to introduce her to lots of new people, including the lovely Clare Balding! We also came home with lots of goodies for Elsa.
Elsa has been trying a few new treats including Alfie & Molly’s Crunchy Veggie Crisps, as well as enjoying a few firm favourites by Lily’s Kitchen. We finally got our paws on a Himalayan Dog Chew thanks to Only Dogs Allowed who had a stall at Crufts. This seems to be a great alternative to rawhide and lasts for absolutely ages!
Elsa was given a PitPat Activity Monitor when we met their lovely team at Crufts so we have been having lots of fun tracking her activity levels over the past few weeks in Elsa’s Weekly Fitness Diary.
We also added a new feature to Paws across Britain – a map showing where all of the places we have featured on the blog are located! Hopefully this will make it easier to navigate the blog and find the dog friendly places that you might want to visit too!
Middleport Mutts was back so we took Elsa for her second visit and spent some time with her little Muttley Crew including Harry The Chug. Despite their best efforts, neither Elsa nor Harry won any prizes in the ‘Dog Fun Show’ but they both enjoyed running around the agility course. It was great to see our favourite dog shop, Hounds hosing a stall at the event too!
It’s been a very busy month but we still found time to explore a few new places including Keele Hall’s woodland walks (blog post coming soon!). Spring has officially arrived at long last and with the days getting longer we are enjoying spending more time outdoors with Elsa, going on longer walks and practising some agility!
Next month – Fun with friends at the Luosko Freedom Field. We are also planning a trip to the beach and we will be taking advantage of the long weekend over Easter to visit lots of new dog friendly cafes and restaurants across Britain!
