The team at Woofmasta recently contacted us to see if Elsa would like to try a few of their new products and we were very happy to oblige...

We are always on the look out for good quality, practical products and accessories that can withstand the elements and cope with our active lifestyle so we were very keen to see what Woofmasta had to offer.

Here's what they sent Elsa:

Neon Pink Easy Clean Collar & Lead Set

Made from a special material that doesn't absorb moisture so it stays clean in all weather conditions.

Also available in neon green.

Personalised Waterproof Nylon Dog Coat

A waterproof coat with a fleece lining that's easy to put on and fits very snugly. It's very bright and has reflective trimmings along the edges along with two battery powered LED lights fitted in the collar.

Hi Viz Dog Lead Extension

This clip-on lead extension is made of bright yellow fabric to match the hi viz coat. It attaches very easily and there is a small battery pack that powers LED lights which have a choice of settings including fast and slow flashing modes.

Reversible Car Blanket

A multi-use blanket made from waterproof fabric on one side and a soft fleece lining on the other. It also has straps that can be looped around headrests to keep it in place on the back seat of a car.

Our Thoughts:

Collar & Lead - I'd normally be quite apprehensive about buying a collar with a buckle, especially one made of this type of material, because I'd be worried about it snagging on Elsa's fur but I was very pleased to find that this one doesn't cause any matting! I LOVE the colour and the fact that both the collar and lead are waterproof; they are pretty and practical - an ideal combination! The lead is also quite comfortable to hold and it's not as stiff as I imagined it would be. Elsa will be wearing these regularly.

The Personalised Coat - This coat fits Elsa like a glove and she seems to be very comfortable when she has it on. The material is very good quality and I'm certain that we'll get a lot of wear out of it, particularly now that the nights are drawing in and there is a bit of a chill in the air. This is definitely an Autumn/ Winter essential.

Hi Vis Lead Extension - I'm so impressed with this! We do already own a tube style ring that goes around Elsa's neck and lights up but it's hard to see it under all her fur, even when it's switched on... The Woofmasta Hi Vis Lead Extension is so simple and clever - it only takes a second to clip on, and there is a tiny battery pack that powers the LED lights which can be switched on to a constant setting or to flash (slow or fast).

Car Blanket - This is great for keeping car seats clean and dry after wet or muddy walks... Elsa wears a harness attached to a special dog seat-belt extension in the car so we did have to fold the blanket over when she had this on, but fortunately the loops can be attached and removed from the headrests very easily. This is a handy blanket to keep in the car because it can also be used as a car boot cover, picnic blanket etc.

Anyone who owns a small, fluffy, cream coloured dog will know that keeping them clean, dry and warm in the British climate is quite a challenge so we would like to thank Woofmasta  for sending us these fantastic, useful products! We've had lots of fun trying them out and are grateful for the opportunity to share our thoughts and feedback.
