We teamed up with our favourite local dog friendly businesses to 'suppawt' Guide Dogs by hosting 'The Great Guide Dogs Tea Party' on National Tea Day 2018!
The event took place at venues throughout Newcastle-Under-Lyme on Saturday 21st April 2018:

The Cakery
3 Fogg St E, ST5 2RE
Dogs (and humans) are always guaranteed a warm welcome at this delightful, friendly coffee shop where you can enjoy freshly baked cakes accompanied by the perfect brew! The Cakery made a batch of special cupcakes in support of Guide Dogs.
Hounds
2 Fogg St E, ST5 2RE
Next door to The Cakery is a one-stop, independent, specialist dog shop. The pick-and-mix treat table is Elsa's favourite section... Special dog cupcakes were available from Hounds in support of Guide Dogs on the day too.

Paws & Co Staffordshire LTD
15 Andrew Place, ST5 1DL
Paws & Co. is a professional grooming salon based on the outskirts of town; they offer a full range of services for both dogs and cats. The 'suppawt' from Paws & Co. went a long way towards helping to achieve the amazing fundraising total for this event!

We are absolutely delighted to report that the fundraising total for this event was an amazing £275!!!
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association receives no support from the government and relies on public donations to help them continue to improve the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired. £270 equates to approximately 12 hours of training at a Guide Dogs training school, plus a special harness for a working Guide Dog.
Once again, we would like to thank Hounds, The Cakery and Paws & Co Staffordshire Ltd for their hard work and dedication to making this day a success! Special thanks to ORIJEN, PitPat and PaB Pack member Piglet for donating raffle prizes too.
