Paws and Rewind is a look back at the places, products, activities and events that we have been enjoying with Elsa over the past month.
It feels like ages ago now but yes, we got caught up in the flurry of World Cup fever in July. It did seem like there was a glimmer of hope for England at one point, and there was a fantastic atmosphere across Britain. It would have been wonderful if it had carried on a little bit longer but maybe next time...
A weekend in Wales
We stepped out of our comfort zone this month and spent a night at Woody's Luxury Glamping and had such an amazing time that even the rain couldn't put a dampener on things, although it did seem to be taking the mickey a little bit when we got drenched on the Puffin Island Cruise with Seacoast Safaris... but we did get to see some puffins and seals, so it was worth it!
Paws across Britain + Stay in a Pub | Yorkshire
We kicked off our collaboration with Stay in a Pub with a trip to Yorkshire and had the pleasure of staying in two wonderful, but very different pubs: The Timble Inn (perfect for cosy, romantic getaways) and The Oak Tree Inn, Helperby (a bustling village hub with its own pub dogs). We also spent a few hours in Harrogate and enjoyed lunch at Hoxton North before heading for a stroll around Valley Park. Both of these places were recommended to us by Michaela at Posh Paws Harrogate - a fantastic pet shop where we found mountains of ORIJEN and a very cute shop dog called Rocco!
Of course we couldn't travel to Yorkshire without stopping at one of our all-time favourite dog friendly places: Salami & Co.! The food, service and atmosphere in this coffee house was even better than we remembered and it's great to see that this small business is thriving.
